About the event
This Beginner Lindy course emphasizes 8-count patterns. This courses will familiarize you with the fundamentals of Lindy Hop in a fun and welcoming way. You will learn basic footwork patterns, how to groove to the music, and how to connect and move with a partner. The aim of each of our beginner courses is to provide you with enough to successfully dance to a swing song.
This class is scheduled Mondays, April 8,15,22,29 & May 6,13 from 8:00-9:15pm @ Via Church, 2820 18 Ave N
No prior experience is needed, absolute beginners are welcome! There is no need to bring your own dance partners.
This class will also serve as a great refresher if you've only taken 1 8-count swing course before as we will include extra technical tips for advanced dancers. Our beginner courses (6-count and 8-count) are suitable for absolute beginners.
